A MULTISENSORY EXPERIENCE exploring plant KNOWLEDGE NETWORKS

In collaboration with botanist and anthropologist Dr Cámara-Leret, a sensorial experience and touring exhibition will highlight the vital role of Indigenous and local communities in cataloguing and conserving biodiversity. Launching at the Zürich Botanical Garden in 2026, the experience takes place in and around greenhouses and engages audiences through the weaving of audio storytelling, data sculpture, encounters and exchanges.

Developed by our multidisciplinary team—including a botanist, an Indigenous shaman, artists and scientists—the project shares and discuss the research of Rodrigo Camarat-Leret and his team, who work on enhancing the scientific and public appreciation of the importance Indigenous peoples to plant knowledge and biodiversity conservation.
